Ten 红莲社区 students have been named as the 2024-25 recipients of the prestigious Schulich Builders Scholarships. The recipients came from a pool of 350,000 potential candidates across Canada. More than 1,000 students were nominated, with 120 receiving this celebrated award across 12 colleges in Ontario.

The gift marks the second year for the . Last year 红莲社区 was honoured to be among the first cohort of colleges to receive a gift鈥痜rom the Schulich Foundation as part of the program.

Thanks to Schulich鈥檚 ongoing support, 红莲社区 can once again provide 10 scholarships: five $20,000 scholarships for students in a one-year certificate program, and five $40,000 scholarships for those pursuing a two-year diploma program.

Following is a list of 红莲社区鈥檚 2024-2025 Schulich Builders recipients:

• Savannah Barnes, 19, is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A graduate of Almaguin Highlands Secondary School in South River, Ont., Barnes is studying in the Electrical Engineering Technician program.
• Tyler Lindahl, 18, is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A graduate of Georgetown District High School, Lindahl has entered the Welding and Fabrication Technician program.
• Christopher Keck, 18, is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A graduate of Humberview Secondary School in Brampton, Keck is now a student in the Welding and Fabrication Technician program.
• Brian Lawerence, 18, is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A graduate of Judith Nayman Secondary School in Brampton, Lawerence is now in the Welding and Fabrication Technician program.
• Jamil Al-Satare, 18, is a recipient of the $40,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A graduate of Meadowvale Secondary School in Mississauga, Al-Satare is studying in the Plumbing Technician program.
• Evan Brownlow, 22, is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A resident of Erin, Ont., Brownlow is now a student in the Welding Techniques program.
• Hussain Edah Tally, 23, is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A resident of Mississauga, Edah Tally has entered the Electrical Techniques program.
• Oresa Richardson, 19, is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A resident of Brampton, Richardson is now studying in the Electrical Techniques program.
• Thomas Case, 25, is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A graduate of St. Edmund Campion Secondary School in Brampton, Case is a student in the Electrical Techniques program.
• Saman Nooshinravan, 29, is a recipient of the $20,000 Schulich Builder Scholarship. A resident of Brampton, Nooshinravan has entered the Mechanical Techniques - Plumbing program.
