Samy has been part of ºìÁ«ÉçÇø’s employee community for 21 years, as a valued member of the Information Technology Team. He is also a ºìÁ«ÉçÇø alumnus (Computer Programming, 1999). Samy holds a Bachelor of Cooperative and Managerial Studies (Business Management) and is a certified Project Management Professional.
Through his many years of service, Samy has come to view ºìÁ«ÉçÇø as a second home. His roles within the Information Technology team have given him the opportunity to work with countless colleagues across ºìÁ«ÉçÇø. He greatly enjoys helping others achieve their goals through the latest technology solutions. As the representative from OPSEU Local 245 (Support Staff) on the Board of Governors, he is committed to applying his unique knowledge and perspective of the institution to help make ºìÁ«ÉçÇø an even better place to work and study. Prior to joining ºìÁ«ÉçÇø, Samy worked in the Information and Communication Division of Siemens AG in Egypt for 9 years.
