Notice of Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Information: Risepoint Canada Holdings ULC
ºìÁ«ÉçÇø has contracted a third-party service provider Risepoint Canada Holdings ULC (“Risepoint”), to provide services to support ºìÁ«ÉçÇø in the delivery of ºìÁ«ÉçÇø Online ºìÁ«ÉçÇø (“Program”). This supports ºìÁ«ÉçÇø’s goal of moving ºìÁ«ÉçÇø fulsomely into a flexible delivery model for our programming.
In addition to ºìÁ«ÉçÇø’s Notice of Collection & Use of Personal Information, we’d like to make you aware of additional collection, use and disclosure requirements under this Program. The personal information collected under this Program is collected, used and disclosed by ºìÁ«ÉçÇø (to Risepoint) under the authority of Section 2 of the Ontario Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Act, 2002, S.O. 2002, c. 8, Sched. F (OCAAT) as well as Sections 39, 41 and 42 of the Ontario Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, RSO 1990, c F.31 (FIPPA). Risepoint may also collect, use and disclose your personal information under limited circumstances and in performance of their contractual obligations to ºìÁ«ÉçÇø.
The personal information that is collected under this Program and shared with Risepoint includes but is not limited to: First Name, Last Name, Program of Interest, Email, Phone Number, Postal Code, Student ID, citizenship, information related to enrolment, admission, registration, program, fees, graduation and employment (“Personal Information”). This information is collected, used and disclosed to Risepoint in order to: establish contact with you; provide you with non-instructional support services; market a list of educational offerings to you; and provide recruitment and retention activities to you (“Purpose”).
Consent
You acknowledge that by participating in ºìÁ«ÉçÇø Online ºìÁ«ÉçÇø, your Personal Information will be collected, used and disclosed for the Purpose. You hereby consent to / authorize ºìÁ«ÉçÇø to disclose your Personal Information to Risepoint for the aforementioned Purpose.
